IC&C Kiln Expert
IC&C has very recently developed the IC&C Kiln Expert, a model for a quick calculation and evaluation of the effects of input changes on all the kiln aspects. The model can handle multiple fuels including Alternative Fuels, upto 12 or more, at the same time.
The model calculates:
- flame temperature
- mass and heat balances
- volatiles, salt formation and condensation to predict chances on build ups
- clinker quality
- emissions
- production level
It therefore consists of 6 sub models that can also be used independently, in fact it is a digital kiln engineer.

Alternative Fuels
Since we are cooperating with a global AF supplier, we are able to supply these AF anywhere.
IC&C is now introducing and supplying new alternative fuels (AF’s) in a cement plant with low cost investments. These AF’s were not used until now in the cement industry world wide.

Global Alternative Fuels Conference Toronto 2009

Benchmark
IC&C has executed a benchmark study for a light weight aggregate producer and is now helping with the testing and implementation of the results.

DeNOx
As a subcontractor IC&C is building a SNCR (Selective Non Catalytic Reduction) installation with urea granulate in a kiln of a alumina cement producer.

Asphalt Industry
IC&C has executed projects in this sector to reduce costs by improving the energy efficiency, the introduction of alternative fuels and biomass and the reduction of emissions.
