IC&C will:

Minimize your operating costs for energy and fuel consumption by maximising the use of Alternative fuels such as Sludges, Biomass, and Waste materials in your area

Provide you with knowledge in the field of burner and flame optimizations, minimization of emissions, cement and clinker chemistry, and other process aspects.

Do a quick scan of your process and kiln operations

Minimize the use of electric energy and optimization of your grinding process

Minimize your plant investments by low-cost improvements for your production plant and kiln(s) , so called IWI’s = Improvement Without Investments

Be an independent advisor since we are not bound to any cement or clinker producing company

Built up a personal dialogue via E-mail or phone

IC&C will also:

Make it possible for you to avoid large investments but still improve your operations by simple key process improvements, practical advice and advanced feasibility studies

Act as an intermediate between customer and suppliers

Provide you with creative and practical advice in short condensed notes, no large reports!

IC&C and other branches of Industry:

IC&C is spreading the knowledge of sustainable production in the cement industry to other branches.

Asphalt
One of the branches is the asphalt industry, a sector with a high energy demand. The production is executed in rotary kilns, mainly fired with fossil fuels. The kilns and burners are comparable with installations in the cement industry. The kiln dimensions and process temperatures are however much lower, but the methods to improve sustainability are quite similar.
IC&C has observed that also in this sector energy efficiency, the usage of alternative fuels and biomass, and the reduction of emissions is becoming more and more actual.

Leca
Another branch with rotary kilns is the light weight aggregate industry. The dimensions of the leca-kilns are of the same order of magnitude as in the cement industry. The process temperatures are almost equally high.
IC&C has executed a benchmark for the energy efficiency. This study is followed by projects to test and implement the results of the benchmark. Goal is to reach the energy efficiency of the best practice plant.
More general in the whole ceramic industry the experience of IC&C is applicable to improve the sustainability of the production facilities.
